FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Phoenix, Arizona – January 1, 2026 – The Arizona National Livestock Show has announced the introduction of a new Trade School Scholarship, expanding its long-standing commitment to supporting young people pursuing their future careers.
For decades, the Arizona National Scholarship Program has helped students achieve their academic goals, awarding more than 1,000 scholarships totaling over $1.4 million since its inception.
The new Arizona National Trade School Scholarship recognizes students who are pursuing hands-on training in technical and vocational fields that support the agricultural industry. Eligible applicants must have participated in the Arizona National Livestock Show or Arizona National Horse Show for at least two years as an exhibitor,
volunteer, contestant, or intern.
“The addition of the Trade School Scholarship is an important step in recognizing the many paths that lead to successful careers in agriculture,” said Tyler Grandil, Executive Director. “Whether through university study or skilled trades, we want to support young people who are committed to this industry’s future.”
The organization will continue to offer the Arizona National College Scholarship, open to undergraduate students pursuing academic degrees. Scholarship applications are accepted once a year, with a deadline of March 15.
Supporting the Scholarship Program
Education remains central to the Arizona National Livestock Show’s mission to invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders. All membership dues directly support the Scholarship Program. Contributions are tax-deductible and go entirely toward funding scholarships.
